Microlon 1080

Microlon 1080 is a fluoropolymer matrix which incorporates several different polymers in suspension. The coating is sprayed on as a clear liquid and cure at a low temperature 350^oF.

Microlon 1080 USES

• Mechanical Components..... Medical instruments, optics, food processing equipment, bearing surfaces, plastic gears.
• Electrical Components..... Electrical stand-offs, feed- through insulators, lab fittings or valves.
• Release Non-wetting..... Lab wear, ball valves, glass liners medical, fabric, films.

Microlon 1080 RELATIVE PROPERTIES

• Chemical @ Resistance to corrosive reagents nonsolubility, weatherability, nonadhesiveness, nonflammability.
• Electrical @ Low dielectric constant, low dissipation factor, high arc, surface and volume resistance.
• Thermal Factors @ Melting point (DTA, E-168) 512^oF
