About Micro Surface Corporation

MICRO SURFACE CORPORATION began as an aerospace company in the early 80's. Today, the company is an international engineered coatings firm that specializes in developing solutions for wear, corrosion resistance, solutions for lubricity and release applications.

Micro Surface has successfully transferred technology from NASA to the commercial market and has utilized other aerospace developments and university research programs to solve industrial problems.   The WS2 product was originally developed for the Mariner Space mission as a permanent lubricant and today is used on bearings, injection molds, automotive components, packaging machines and robotics/automation devices.

Having started the business with the WS2 coating, Micro Surface now applies over 200 coatings and surface treatments to a vast variety of components from the medical, plastic, automotive, food processing and chemical industries.  Additionally, the company has licensees for the WS2 Coating Technology in the U.K., Germany, Canada, Korea, Singapore and soon to open in Italy.   Furthermore, the company is called upon to provide design engineering assistance and to conduct coating educational seminars.

Industry has grown to rely upon Micro Surface Corporation as the source of solutions for difficult corrosion, adhesion, wear and release problems.
